Professional Headshots

What does a Professional Headshot cost?

Professional headshots are one of the most cost-effective ways to instantly upgrade your business.  Our headshot sessions include your session time, 20-30 images to choose from, and two full size files with professional editing (brightening eyes, whitening teeth, removing lint and stray hairs, etc). You can add additional images, or additional people, a business partner etc, at a reduced rate.

How Often Should I Update My Headshot?

New headshots should be photographed whenever your appearance changes substantially. It is important that your headshot looks like you on your best day. If you change hairstyles, gain or lose weight, or feel you're looking more mature, it is time to update your headshot.

Even if nothing noticeable changes, you need to update your headshot regularly, at least every 2-3 to keep it current.

Great to work with, professional, fun, laid back. They really guide you through the whole process.

Professional Headshots

Whatever line of work you are in, if you are promoting yourself, you need a great headshot. More than just a flattering photograph, a professional headshot is a powerful tool for making people remember you.  It's to your advantage to provide a headshot that people can identify with and remember you by.  Professional headshot pricing starts at $299 for the first 2 pictures and $79 for each additional image. The following are a few examples of why you need that great professional portraits.

Social Media Headshots

Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and so on.  Your headshot photography is the first thing people see and judge you on.  Do you really want it to be a self pic you took in your bathroom mirror?  Don’t believe me?  It’s a well known fact that on internet sales sites (or even dating and social media sites)  profiles/items with great pictures are viewed more than profiles without.

Business Card Headshots

A good image reminds people of the clever, articulate and trustworthy person that gave it to them.  Putting your image on your card has been the go-to move of any professional who works directly with clients for years.  Think real estate agents, insurance agents, outside sales people and more.  Simply putting a good headshot on your card increases the perceived value of your business AND increases your professional authority in the eyes of the consumer.

Resume Pictures

Using headshots on a resume is almost necessary.  If you have two equal candidates for a job and only one of the applicants has a beautiful head shot in the upper corner… who do you think is going to make the biggest impact on the employer? It shows that you care enough about getting the job to go the extra mile.  A good portrait can convey that you’re intelligent, trustworthy and basically the kind of person your potential employer will want to have around for 8 hours a day.

Advertising Headshots

Here’s a quirky fact about the human brain that actually changed the advertising industry.  The human brain is hardwired to look for faces and make quick judgments about the intent of the person behind the face.  Because of that little quirk Madison Ave. advertising agencies began including more faces and less text based ads in their campaigns.  They found that the ads with faces grabbed the attention of their audience significantly more than the ones without.  They also found that they could elicit a specific emotional response from their audience by adjusting the facial expressions of the models in the ad.  Imagine being able to tell your customer that you are trustworthy and competent without ever saying a word.

Acting Headshots

Headshots are an integral part of achieving success in the acting world. Acting headshots are your primary calling card and serve as the focal point of your actor portfolio. A headshot gives casting directors a sense of who you are as an actor with just one glance, and therefore it should represent you in the best way possible. When selecting headshots, keep in mind that they should be professional, realistic, and capture your essence without overdoing it on makeup or props. Your headshot tells a story about you before you even set foot into an audition, so make sure it’s telling your story the right way!
