Meet Emmerson – a West Albany High School senior with a heart of gold and a love for the simple joys in life. We first crossed paths with Emmerson a few years back when we photographed her brother's senior portraits. Like her brother, Emmerson exudes a down-to-earth vibe that we couldn't wait to capture.

For Emmerson's session, we wanted to play to her natural, laid-back personality. And what better way to do that than by heading to the charming town of Brownsville, Oregon? With its small-town charm and picturesque landscapes, Brownsville was the perfect backdrop for our shoot.

Fun fact: Brownsville was chosen as the filming location for the iconic movie "Stand By Me," and some of the filming locations can still be seen today. We couldn't resist incorporating a bit of movie magic into Emmerson's portraits!

We kicked things off at a serene river spot, where the sun danced off the water, casting a warm glow on Emmerson's beautiful red hair. It was pure magic, and we couldn't help but be in awe of the stunning scenery.

Next up, we wanted to capture the essence of fall, even though it was the middle of July. So, we got creative and "faked fall" by finding a spot full of dried fallen leaves and transformed a summer day into an autumnal wonderland. The result? Gorgeous portraits bathed in golden sunlight, with no rain or muddy boots in sight!

For our final location, we ventured into downtown Brownsville, borrowing some iconic spots straight from the silver screen. Next time you watch Stand By Me perhaps you’ll recognize some of the backgrounds in Emmersons senior portraits.  Call to Action:
